Well, that's what marine biologist and diver Monty Halls is doing as a volunteer wildlife ranger in the Outer Hebrides. Monty and Reuben are heading north again to the Hebridean Islands of the Uists and Barra. And this time he has a job to do, resurrecting a wildlife ranger post that disappeared due to lack of funding six years earlier. The Outer Hebrides is a near mythical set of islands, with wildlife that is renowned throughout the world. It is his job to travel the length of the western isles, to seek out and experience the very best encounters, and to travel into the wilderness that is the Atlantic Ocean.
