In the final years of the Qing Dynasty, famous kung fu master "Big Saber" Wang Wu (Eddy Ko) falls to the invincible martial arts of evil cult leader Lian Bixie (Wong Lung Wai), and has all of his family killed except for his young son Wuji. Bearing the vendetta, Wuji (Ng Kong) grows up a disciple of the Drunken Beggar (Tso Tat Wah).
