Zhang + Knight are a London based directing duo who create vivid films which explore themes of cultural identity through traditional folklore. They begun their career in music videos and adverts and are now making narrative work. Their video ‘Softly’ for Arlo Parks showcases their dazzling set design with a surreal cityscape unraveling before her. Promos for London Grammar, Meryem Aboulouafa and Eden have been awarded at D&AD, Creative Circle and Kinsale, and Zhang + Knight also won Best New Director at the UKMVAs in 2018.
