Japanese film director, screenwriter, CM director, video creator. He is a member of the Film Directors Guild of Japan. Graduated from Musashino Art University in 1975. From the same year, he worked as a freelance film assistant director with Mamoru Watanabe, Shinya Yamamoto, and Genji Nakamura. After that he engaged in CM work.
