Born in Izmir, Oğulcan Atayol completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Photography. In 2024, his first feature-length film ‘Extreme Personal Documentary’, which documents the recording process of musician Nilufer Akdogu's Turkish jazz album Aristo'ya Inat (Against Aristotle), started its screening and festival adventure.
