His humble beginnings growing up in the projects of Hammond, Indiana, led him to pursue higher education and eventually to answer the call to preach and lead. As a pastor, Mike is the founder of V1 Church, a vibrant and growing community of believers across the globe. With physical church locations in Long Island, Brooklyn, Miami, and Northwest Indiana, he also has a global church community that meets online weekly. Consequently, the foundation provides a Christmas miracle to hundreds of people in shelters between Brooklyn and Long Island. In addition, hundreds of families receive food monthly through the foundation's philanthropic work.
