Mika Taanila is a filmmaker and visual artist based in Helsinki. His films have been screened at several international film festivals such as TIFF Toronto, IFFR Rotterdam, Berlinale, CPH:DOX, Clermont-Ferrand, Karlovy-Vary, Midnight Sun Film Festival, IDFA Amsterdam and Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen.
