Megha Akshara ( born 17 May) is an Indian film director, actor and producer from the Kannada film industry. Rakshasa tantra is her debut movie as a director and producer. After having worked as an assistant director in various Kannada movies and under the tutelage of well-known director Dinesh Baboo. She wanted to direct her debut feature and wanted to explore a different way of filmmaking, so decided to take up this project which had its style of presentation and challenges of making. She had to figure out various techniques on her own to make this feature as it involved shooting very long shots of multiple characters to be in sync to look like a video call.
