Maziyar was born in southern Iran during the Iran-Iraq war and lived there until the age of 12. Afterward, he migrated to the Jolfa area of Isfahan. After being released from prison, he migrated to Paris and graduated in IT from a Microsoft-specialized school. He collaborated with Ruhollah Zam to develop the news channel Amad News and also started working in journalism.
