He is the founder of Sei Ei Do (SEIEIDO), (Meaning: The Elite Path of Mastery), an eclectic blend of martial arts drawing from different combat disciplines and philosophies. He is recognized as a “Pioneer of Online Martial Arts.” Johnson began his journey into the world of martial arts in 1959. For more than six decades he has studied more than a dozen styles of martial arts. In 1996 he was named “Master Instructor of the Year” by the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame and was featured on the cover of Inside Tae Kwon Do magazine.
