Laïla Marrakchi (born December 10, 1975 in Casablanca, Morocco) is a Moroccan film director and screenwriter. In 2005, she wrote and directed her first feature film, Marock, which was presented in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2013, she made her second film, Rock the Casbah. She directed 5 episodes of Canal Plus' The Bureau (2015) and 3 episodes of Netflix's Marseille (2016).
