Kristina Dufková was born on October 16, 1978 in Prague, Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic). Kristina is a director and writer, known for Living Large (2024), Zubatá nekouse! (2019) and Malé pohádky (2006). Dufková is a director, animator, and artist. From 1997 to 1999, she studied at the Higher Vocational School of Film in Písek, majoring in animation. From 2000 to 2010, she studied at FAMU, at the Department of Animation. For her graduation film A Tear Is Needed (Usnula jsem, 2008), in which she also cast her partner Jiří Macháček and her daughter Berta, she won the Best Animated Film Award at Anifest 2009. Living Large (2024) is her debut feature film.
