Her first major role was in the musical "Beauty and the Beast" in Houston. She portrayed Belle in four performances, and she loved the overall experience that she had. By her senior year in high school Katherine was accepted to St. John's University in New York for Television and film for screenwriting and directing. In her free time from college she auditions for plays and films in New York.
