James Antony Scripps (born September 25 1998) is an English actor. Having trained at the Rose Bruford College in London, James is a dynamic actor, voice artist, and filmmaker. He has performed on stage with the Royal Ballet in Romeo & Juliet and took on the role of Dan in Laura Mead’s original play Vanilla, which debuted at Soho’s Tristan Bates Theatre. James also co-founded CANOLA in 2024, a production company specialising in analogue films. James recently completed his writer's debut with fantasy short film: Delirium, a surrealist exploration of truth and imagination shot on 16mm. His voiceover credits include major brands such as Persil and Pepsi Co, and he has collaborated on projects such as A Date to Remember, which earned an Official Longlist Selection at LAMDA & RD Studio's 48-Hour Short Film Festival. Prior to his professional training, James was a member of Big Spirit Youth Theatre, joining the ranks of alumni like Ben Whishaw and Carlyss Peer.
