Guido Weijers werd geboren op 30 juli 1977, in het Brabantse dorpje Boxmeer (onder Nijmegen). Tijdens de eindexamenuitreiking op de HAVO trad hij voor de eerste keer op als cabaretier. Bij drie toneelscholen (Maastricht, Eindhoven en Arnhem) werd hij afgewezen. Na een jaar CMV in Arnhem studeerde hij Toerisme in Breda. Daar werd hij enkele malen gevraagd om wat avonden te presenteren en 'aan elkaar te praten'. In 1997 en 1999 huurde hij het Chasse Theater in Breda en het Weijertheater in Boxmeer af, om oudejaarsconferences in eigen beheer te spelen. Hij meldt zich aan voor het Leids Cabaret Festival 1999 en in 2000 bij het Cameretten Festival. Bij het Leids haalde hij niet de finale, maar in Rotterdam lukte hem dat wel en won hij ook de publieksprijs.
