Her younger sister is voice actress Tsukino Chikasada (近貞月乃). Until around 2011, she belonged to IVY Company and performed under the name Fuyuna Chikasada (近貞冬奈, Fuyuna Chikasada). In 2012, she passed the Itoh Company Group's special audition, joined the agency and changed her name to 朝倉ふゆな.
