Frederick Marx is an internationally acclaimed, Oscar- and Emmy-nominated filmmaker, director, writer, and editor with over 45 years in the film industry. He gained international recognition for co-writing and editing the documentary Hoop Dreams (1994), which won the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival and was the first documentary ever chosen to close the New York Film Festival.
