She is also associated with being a muse of Karl Lagerfeld, Yves Saint Laurent and Andy Warhol, the latter launching her acting career with L'amour (1973, shot in 1970) which co-starred close friend (and fellow Warhol Superstar) Jane Forth, as well as Karl Lagerfeld. After becoming disillusioned with the scene, she floated around Europe, partaking in modelling jobs in europe, before finally settling down in Milan and opening a boutique and becoming an editor for Glamour Italia. She eventually returned to America, opening a organic food store.
