She was born in the Pyuthan district of Nepal and is the mother of actor Kumud Pant and actress Janaki Pant, both prominent figures in the film industry.Growing up in Pyuthan, Bidhyabati developed a strong passion for education and helping others. At the age of 18, she married Tika Dutta Pant, who served as the head teacher at Rajhena High School for 30 years. Following their marriage, she moved to Tearute Dang, Nepal, where she made significant contributions to the local community. With the support of her husband, she established a primary school and served as its head teacher, providing education and guidance to numerous children.In addition to her work in education, Bidhyabati was a dedicated health nurse, offering medical assistance and financial support to those in need.
