Bebbra Mailin (b. 1985, Malaysia) is a lecturer at the Faculty of Film, Theatre and Animation at Universiti Teknologi MARA in Malaysia. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Communication in Screen Studies from the University of Science Malaysia, and has been involved in a number of well-received short films in Sabah and Peninsula Malaysia. Her first experimental short film Eye Love won the Best Film Award at Kota Kinabalu International Film Festival (2011). Her second short film Langad Di Odu (Grandma’s Longing) won Best Film at the Borneo Eco Film Festival (2012). In 2016, her documentary project Rapuh (Fragile) was selected and screened at Visual Documentary Project in Kyoto University and in Tokyo.
