Afterwards, he was popular in the world of photo modeling which then expanded to singing. He replaced Teuku Ryan in the Cool Colors, a vocal group consisting of Ari Wibowo, Surya Saputra, and Johandy Yahya. He married a fellow Indonesian actor, Nia Zulkarnaen, in 2003 and together they founded Alenia Pictures, a production house that released Denias, Senandung di Atas Awan.
