Andrew Pollack received a bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature along with a certificate in Film Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. While at school, Andrew received two consecutive Michael S. Roif awards. One, for his adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's The Tell Tale Heart and the other, for his own story, The Henry Holmes Motel. He also received an Honorable Mention award at the USA Film Festival for his short film Aberration along with best student short at the Long Island International Film Expo for his thesis film, The Bright Side of Things. He has just completed his Master's Degree in Directing at the American Film Institute.
