He made his film debut in Mahşere Kadar in 1957 and went on to appear in nearly 200 films, among them Aşktan da Üstün, Kelebekler Çift Uçar, Bir Türk'e Gönül Verdim, Düğün and Selvi Boylum Al Yazmalım.
