He is best known for his role as Dean Portman, one of the "Bash Brothers" in The Mighty Ducks movies. He has also appeared in the movie-musicals Newsies as Mush, and in Rent, in which he played an AIDS patient and sang the songs "Life Support" and "Will I?" He had also been seen as Matt in Bare, a Pop Opera and in various roles in Michael John LaChiusa's See What I Wanna See. In 2000, he starred as Micky Dolenz in the VH1 TV-movie Daydream Believers: The Monkees' Story.He provided the singing voice for Max in A Goofy Movie. He attended UCLA and graduated in 2000. He was also the Dancing Boy in Deniece Williams' music video for the song "Let's Hear It for the Boy". He is also in the British television advertisement for Carlsberg Beer. Lohr has also appeared in many Sister Sister episodes, better known as Marlon in his later appearances in the show.
