Hulusi Bey, who has three daughters, raises his eldest daughter Fatoş like a boy. Spoiled and tough-natured, Fatoş discourages all suitors by playing various tricks. Hulusi Bey's last hope is to marry Fatoş to Ayhan, the son of his old friend, who is her cradle mate.
