Shoji, who moved to Tokyo from Tohoku, meets Daisuke by chance and hits it off. Hoping to make quick money, the two join forces with the yakuza and start a loan shark business, lending money at exorbitant interest rates. Shoji is strong-willed and ruthlessly collects from debtors, while Daisuke is timid and unable to be completely ruthless.
