He asks for financial support from his friend Pošmurný. But he uses the excuse of his daughter's wedding. He has money set aside for a dowry, so he cannot lend his friend anything. Then Kotrba gets lucky - he wins a voucher for goods worth 10,000. But there's a hitch. He can only redeem the voucher for goods at the local unity, where he has become the 100,000th visitor.
