The film tells the story of a woman's love affair with a composer she admires. Macide, whose parents are deceased, lives in a small town with her aunt. Macide is in love with the famous composer Vedat Süreyya. She follows all of his programs. One day, Macide's father's friend Süleyman Bey offers to take Macide to Istanbul. Macide is delighted with this offer and moves to Istanbul to live in Süleyman Bey's house. Süleyman Bey's daughter Sacide is uncomfortable with this situation.
