Yoko is busy with her work and regularly returns home to take care of her mother, Chieko, who suffers from dementia, together with her father, Tadakatsu. One day, Yoko is introduced to a service called 'Rental Family' by her business partner. Yoko is puzzled by the unfamiliar service, but calls a rental husband to come to her home to do housework.
