Pelo Suelo follows Gloria Trevi, an aspiring singer who works in a Monterrey bar, performing her own compositions, and dreams of going to the capital to start a professional career. After a rather awkward encounter with a famous singer, Gloria finally decides to leave the bar where she has worked for so many years to seek her fortune in the capital.
