Ralph is the poor inventor of an automobile motor with revolutionary claims. Marvin is the wealthy and one time college pal. Unknown to either of them, they both seek the hand of a charming young lady whose creditor-hounded parents' desires are for a well-to-do son-in-law. However, the girl's affection leans toward Ralph.
