Her original name was Amábile Lúcia Visintainer, second daughter of the couple Antônio Napoleone Visintainer and Anna Pianezzer. She emigrated to Brazil in 1875 with her parents, siblings and other families in the region. Here, she lived in the town of Vígolo, in the city of Nova Trento, in the state of Santa Catarina.
