Timmy, a 5th grade boy with Tionghoa (Chinese) lineage, is a good friend with Jarwo (Javanese), Nia (Balinese), and Romy (Batak). During their examination, all the students have to fill a form indicating their origin. Timmy fills in Java as his origin, since he is born in Jakarta that is part of the island of Java. When the educational system makes them realize that they are separated by ethnicity, the children instead find fundamental things that unite them. So begins Timmy’s journey to find his identity.
