Recording of the Dutch musical. The story takes place in 1939, just before German troops invade Warsaw, on board the Nieuw Amsterdam, a ship of the Holland-America Line. The Jewish magician Benjamin Benjamins flees from the threat of Hitler's new regime. On the ship he meets stowaway Fanny Janssen.
